If you're facing a true emergency, like:
- No heat during freezing temperatures
- Active water leaks or flooding
- Sewer backup or toilet not flushing (if it’s the only one)
- No power (and you’ve checked the breaker box)
- Refrigerator not working
- Fire, gas leak, or carbon monoxide alarm (after calling 911)
