Will you handle evictions?
Yes. If an eviction becomes necessary, we manage the entire tenant eviction process from start to finish.
Our attorney handles filings and court appearances, and our licensed SPM agents serve notices and testify when needed. You’ll be informed and protected every step of the way.
Why is there a service fee for maintenance?
Our $59 service fee covers the internal time it takes to coordinate with the tenant, gather materials, and schedule the work. We’ve priced it as low as possible without cutting corners or sacrificing efficiency.
Can I handle my own maintenance?
We’ve learned from experience that when owners try to coordinate their own repairs while we manage everything else, communication gets messy—and tenant satisfaction suffers.
To serve residents well and keep our fees low, we require that all maintenance requests go through our system.
Are you insured?
Absolutely. Stewardship Property Management carries a comprehensive insurance policy to protect both our company and our clients. All subcontractors are also required to carry active liability coverage.
We do recommend that owners maintain their own landlord insurance policy as well, to cover building replacement, liability, and tenant-related claims.
What areas do you serve?
We typically serve properties within a 40-mile radius of our office in North Canton, Ohio, which allows us to respond quickly and maintain strong local relationships.
This includes Akron, Massillon, Canton, North Canton, Wooster, Dover, New Philadelphia, Medina, Wadsworth, Millersburg, and many more surrounding communities.
